It’s cherry blossom season at EN Japanese Brasserie in Manhattan, where chef Abe Hiroki celebrates the annual festival of Japan’s national flower with a seven-course kaiseki (tasting menu) available throughout April.
Try sakura (cherry blossom) smoked sashimi or tilefish and bamboo shoots marinated in cherry blossom dashi (broth), then grilled.
The tasting menu is $95/person. Sake pairings are available for an additional $55/person.
